Fan account of SS501 Persona Concert

SS501 Asia tour Persona 2009 in Taipei

Due to the fact that I got a good seat and don’t intend to buy the concert merchandise
Thus I happily went to attend a wine appreciation event
Thinking that arrived at the concert venue at 7pm will be alright
Little did I know that…the moment I got down the bus, I saw long queue for people
Thought that is for the queue for the standing area, but it is not
SS501 is really great, they are so famous
By right, today intend not to post my entry, because afternoon taste 5 different types of white wine made me tired…
Ended up, the moment the concert started, my rationalism just disintegrated…HIGH till my throat are sore from those screaming

Your eyes did not play a trick, this is the queue that is lining up to enter the concert hall
There is no bags’ spot-check squad here.

My seat is awesome, is RED 2C 4th row, “田” shaped stage right in the middle
The distance is less than 10metre, super high and very clear view
5 of them line up in a horizontal line in front of me, super happy, just that unable to view the whole stage at the YELLOW area.

Personally feel that the standing area will be very tiring, because of the barricade stage height is high…will have the feeling of being block.
This time is really very lucky, because I did not check out where the 5 of their standing position
Ended up, being so in love with Baby, I manage to buy a seat the RED area where he most often appear

Today I did discretely snap up pics of the 5 of them during the encore, sorry, I know I am wrong…bow
Because during the last encore song, they rush to the very front of the stage, too close up, less than 5metre away
Everyone turn into a shutter bug , so I also cant resist the temptation and snap a few pics

The concert started off at about 7.40pm, ended up about 9.50pm.
Wrote a bit of my feeling to share here generally
This time round can’t write too detailed, but I will try to slowly add in more when I remember more info.

1. Songs Segment
I am not very pro in some of the songs, so I can only write out those that I got impression on, and I did not write in order, “because I m stupid”, so can’t remember
The opening song is Déjà vu, where everyone wore the familiar armor suit
After that, they put on their mask and sang 'Unlock'
Finished with “Warning”, followed with “A Song Calling For You”
Plus a 5-man version of “Because I m Stupid”
Before “U R Man”, there is a killer theme VCR of Hyunjoong and Jungmin(They are so handsome~)
The 1st half of the song is done by sub-unit, at later half is the 5-men version

They sang a total of 4 new songs in REBIRTH
Including a song that all 5 of them came together and wrote the lyrics specially for the fans
The boys were seated on 5 white high stools, and the addition of the rotating platform, everyone is able to take a look at all 5 of them
Another song not to be left out is “Love like this”

Encore song is “BYE BYE”, super super super high, 5 boys crazily played with water.
On the other hand, there is another song “Coward” and “You are my Heaven”(Everyone is playing with water, no one is singing)

2. Solo Order Is

Baby:
VCR’s content is he just woke up, a girl was sleeping beside him…it ended with Baby bringing the girl into the room.
Today, Baby is so handsome that he just glows, so forgive you
Wearing a white suit and singing the fast song(Hey G), standing at the main stage, in the middle

Actually I am anticipating to hear “I Am”, I love that song very much/
Even if Baby and the female dancer has to stick together during the dance, I also won’t mind, but why he did not sing tat song… sob sob

KyuJong:
2x solo, “Never Let You Go” and “Wuss Up”, main stage 2F>main stage>middle of pavement.

JungMin:
2x solo
VCR’s theme is vampire, super handsome
During the ballad song, he stood on the rising platform, position is at the end of the stage
He walked around the whole stage during “甜蜜蜜”(Chinese song—Sweetness), keep shooting electrifying stares at the fans.
JungMin’s “Sweetness” song makes all the fans bathed in the sweetness, everyone sang together in unison with him
Moreover, JungMin no doubt is the sweetest “PR JungMin”.
He sat at the edge of the standing area, and shakes hands with the fans and received their gifts

YoungSaeng:
VCR’s theme is blue sky, ballad, main stage 2F
He wrote a blue suit, match perfectly with the sea of special blue lightstick which are specially prepared, wonderful!

HyunJoong:
1st half is a solo dance, then he sang, main stage>middle pavement, Jittjoong
The moment, our dear leader stripped to show off his muscles, I thought of a Korean drama 'You are beautiful''s statue of David 囧

Youngsaeng appearance(the area with the white light), the whole concert hall transformed into a sea of blue, specially prepared for Youngsaeng, other members also don’t have.

3. Hyunjoong—At the start, doesn’t seem fully awake yet, not much expression.
But the moment he spoke, the cries of cheer are loudest
Kyujong is really the good boy, keep doing his 90degree bow to thanks the fans. This time round, he became more man.
Jungmin is super attentive, took away the carrot toy that fans gave him. Moreover, when he walk to the RED area, feel that his complexion is really very good.
Baby, did not speak, just totally handsome and cute, love him so much. Moreover, he kept coming over to the RED area, so happy.
Youngsaeng…sang his song so well, but he spoke very softly
Secretly feel that he seems to gain some weight…or actually, it is the rest who become too skinny

4. Today the MC divided into 2 segments
The 1st half of the concert, is scripted and prepared, so there is chinese subs on the screen
The 2nd half there is a translator noona to help with the translation instantly
Jungmin keep talking in Chinese, keep repeating the translator’s words “A round of applause” and “Are you happy?”

5. The moment to leave the main stage
The most one who made the most appearance at the RED area is Baby, followed by Kyujong
PR Jungmin mostly is at the PURPLE area, while Hyunjoong and Youngsaeng are at the YELLOW and middle most of the time.
Hyunjoong almost did not come to the RED area, I think only during the encore song

6. A walk around the whole stage during the encore, start from PURPLE, end at RED area

“BYE BYE” is really very high, everyone was jumping up and down
Baby and Jungmin both were at the RED area.
And they started bickering at the RED area, really is Tom&Jerry couple
5boys and all the dancers had their crazy water battle, even pour mineral water over the audience, and threw chocolates at the PURPLE area.
Kyujong at the RED area keep scaring everyone, teasing to pour water on them..in the end, he still pour
Watching them in such short distance, all 5 of them has really small face
And, Hyunjoong’s face looks even smaller after he lost a lot of weight.
